"Cruise News" from FREEDOM CRUISES for 11/12/07 - Introducing our 2008 Mediterranean Cruise

Welcome to "Cruise News" for 11/12/07.

Thank you to those who have written to me to ask about
our ELEVENTH ANNUAL FREEDOM CRUISE.  This is
the first "Cruise News" I've written for some time, so I'll
take this opportunity to catch you up on what's been
happening with FREEDOM CRUISES.  (As always, if ever
you no longer wish to receive these email updates, just
send me a request to be removed from the list.)

First, I'm delighted to introduce the ELEVENTH ANNUAL
FREEDOM CRUISE - a 12 day itinerary through the
Mediterranean, focused on Italy and the Greek islands.
We will be sailing on Holland America Line's Zuiderdam,
a ship I've enjoyed several times.  The entire ship is
being refurbished just prior to her 2008 European season.

Please consider joining our largest group ever of
freedom loving friends next year.  Even before this official
announcement of the cruise, 28 of you have already made a
reservation!  This will be an experience of a lifetime!

Next, let me share what we've been up to.

A wonderful group of fellow cruisers enjoyed our TENTH
ANNUAL FREEDOM CRUISE to Hawaii in February.  It
was all I expected it to be, remembering our similar
cruise in 2002.  This time we had a larger group, more
fun, and the fares were lower!  You can see some photos
from that cruise at:

Another group sailed with Ellen and me on a small
ship cruise to the California Wine country in October.  It
was a very pleasant way to tour the wineries of Napa and
Sonoma Valleys with our Cruise West ship as our home base.
A highlight for me was enjoying a wine tasting on deck as
we had a narrated cruise around the San Francisco Bay.
We circled Alcatraz and cruised beneath the Golden Gate
Bridge while enjoying fine wines with our friends.

Ellen and I then flew from San Francisco to
Fort Lauderdale to catch the Zuiderdam for an Eastern
Caribbean cruise with some of my high school classmates.
(It has been 35 years since our graduation!)

Many of you have also honored me by allowing me
to book individual cruises for you this year.  Thank you
for your trust and confidence.  I truly enjoy helping
friends plan and experience a wonderful cruising vacation.

Please have a Happy Thanksgiving this year.  I
look forward to hearing from all of you.  I'd be happy
to update you on some non-cruising adventures I've been
up to, if you care to drop me an email.

Best Wishes,

Ken
