Eighth Annual Libertarian Cruise - Update # 4

Welcome to everyone!  I hope you are planning
an enjoyable Holiday Season.  Although it seems a
long way away, our Baltic Cruise will be rapidly
upon us once the New Year rolls through.  With this
update, I wish to build the excitement of those who
have already booked with "A Day on the MS Westerdam".
Please join this happy group.

If you are considering joining us, just email
me and request a "booking form".  Then I'll make your
reservation.  Your deposit is fully refundable if
you have to cancel and do so before March 22, 2005.
Ellen and I just returned from our first cruise on
Celebrity Cruise Line.  We had a great time and found
it comparable to Holland America Line in many ways.

I have increased my FREEDOM CRUISES activity this
year and welcome the opportunity to arrange any group
cruises for your friends or family.  Please let me know
if I can help you with any of your cruising plans in
addition to this annual group cruise.  Now enjoy this
virtual cruise with another "Day on the MS Westerdam".

DAY THREE ON THE MS WESTERDAM

As we slept, the Westerdam cruised to our first
port of call.  At 8 A.M. we are at the pier in Tallinn,
Estonia.  One look from the deck lets us know this Baltic
Cruise will be unlike any of our previous Libertarian
Cruises.  Tallinn is said to offer one of the finest
medieval "Old Towns" in Europe.  It has cobblestone
streets, small shops, and such dazzling sights as a
Russian Orthodox cathedral.

Our opportunity to explore such a wonderful place is
enhanced by the local knowledge of Paul Vahur, a resident
libertarian.  Paul was born in Tallinn and has lived there
ever since.  With his help we explore the highlights of
Tallinn.  They include:

* The Baroque castle of Palace Square in Old Town which
is the present seat of the Estonian Parliament
* The 16th century ruins of St. Bridget's Convent
* The outstanding Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky
Cathedral, complete with gorgeous mosaics and icons
* The Gothic Dome Church (St. Mary's Cathedral) where more
than 100 coats of arms are on display

Of course, all the amenities of our lovely ship are
available all day long and everyone can schedule their
own excursions too, until we sail away at 6 P.M.  Since
we are dining at the second seating, we have plenty of
time to enjoy the on-deck "sail away" and watch Tallinn
shrink into the distance before preparing for our evening.

After a shower and cocktail, I'll check out the casino
for a brief blackjack session before dinner.  In the dining
room we all meet up to enjoy another magnificent five course
meal together, trading stories of our day's sights and events.
Of course, since tomorrow we arrive in St. Petersburg, we
will also be most excited about what is yet to come.  I'm
so glad to have you with us!

Till next time,

Ken
